Almost daily, the Holy Spirit reminds me that no matter how strong I perceive my faith to be there is work yet to be done!! Philippians 4:6 tells us not to be anxious about ANYthing, but to take everything to the Lord and with thanksgiving no less. The key is to unload all our worries and stress at the foot of the cross, but then to LEAVE IT THERE!!! How often do we give our problems to the Lord in prayer, say amen, and then gather everything back up and carry it away with us?? I realized that I had began doing this again a few days ago and it makes zero sense!! What it shows is a lack of faith in my prayer life which REALLY MAKES NO SENSE!!! All I have to do is reflect on my past to see Gods hand in my future. Only by letting go and letting God can we truly experience the JOY that surpasses all human understanding. Lord, please forgive my lack of faith and doubt…Amen
